Musical path
Samantha Mistrorigo, known professionally as Samantha Emme (born 1984), is an Italian singer and songwriter. Her passion for music began at an early age, thanks to her maternal grandfather – a pianist and opera accompanist – who instilled in her a love of singing and the art of music.
During her adolescence, she began studying singing with a gospel choir teacher, honing her vocal skills and developing a strong artistic sensibility. She began performing in venues in Reggio Emilia and the surrounding province, collaborating with various local musicians and laying the foundation for her career in the live music world.
In 2009, she participated in the X Factor selections, and in 2010, she collaborated on Povia’s album “Scacco Matto.”
In the following years, she continued her vocal training with jazz singer Lorena Fontana, attending vocal jazz workshops with Cathy Segal Garcia and jazz interpretation workshops with Shawn Monteiro.
In 2016, she participated in a course with the renowned American duo Tuck & Patti and won second place at the Germano Varesi singing competition in Val Tidone (PC), a result she repeated in 2017.
In 2023, Samantha created new projects with professional musicians from the Emilian scene, bringing sophisticated groups such as the True Colors Duo (vocals and double bass) to the stage, also performing on prestigious stages such as the Bravo Caffè in Bologna.
